The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Soldiers Group

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a colorful mix of heroes, and a gripping narrative featuring angels, demons, and dark forces increasing in influence within the city.

Heads-up: Revealing details for the third episode of Campaign 4 are included.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The third episode concluded with a dramatic pause and revealed the first table of adventurers who will split off from the central cast to embark on their separate journey, separate from the remaining groups.

This warrior group features Teor (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

With a large ensemble, it was obvious from the start that keeping everyone at one table would be impossible.

This explains, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Prelude, intertwining the characters’ stories before splitting into three separate parties: Soldiers, Planners, and Seekers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

According to the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who are drawn to a classically intense combat and conflict-driven narrative style where diplomatic options are rare.

Upon first impression, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might seem mismatched, but the actions of the third episode make it clear why these five characters are ideally matched for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

First, the party knows exactly where to go next after a intense opening clash with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose demise initiated the narrative’s action—exploited The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, breaking into the hidden lair, attacking Thimble, and stealing all the magical artifacts to auction.

The antagonist then settled his liabilities and ran away to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, north of the city, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each adventurer has a individual motive to exit the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, seeks vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the northern area and cautions that it is a dangerous place.
  • The strong character and The healer, having defied his house’s orders to execute Teor and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their position as key figures in the powerful family could help the team reach locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character pledged a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his rescue and will now go with him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are wanted by the powers that control the city for a multiple motives, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The rogue and The hero are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and Wicander defied House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This means them no alternative but to journey toward Timmony in search of the traitor.

Future Episodes

According to episode three’s Cooldown, we find out that the Soldiers table won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight participants to assemble the Seekers and Planners parties.

Viewers can anticipate discovering which characters will be in which group in the story’s final introductory chapter, released on the upcoming Thursday.
